A typical client has broad expectations of his forwarder and OMNITRANS has always recognized that no stone can be left unturned when pursuing the client's interests.
With a strong focus on customer service, OMNITRANS CORP LTD. was founded in 1972 by Hermann V. Amsz. The head office, located in downtown Manhattan was soon followed by branches in Boston and at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport.

OMNITRANS is concerned with more than daily operations. It strives to reconcile the issues confronting the industry and to this end is a member of associations including the New York/New Jersey Foreign Freight Forwarders and Brokers Association Inc. and the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA). To be on top of the latest legislation, regulations and procedures, vigilance is required. We consider this time well spent on behalf of our customers.
In 1987 OMNITRANS created an affiliate; OMNITAINER LINE Inc. In its capacity as NVOCC it has served to enhance the consolidation capability of the parent organization and was touted as an improvement by the market. Moving cargo of every ilk accounts for the mainstay of business:

Our office is staffed with veterans of the trade and several among them have been with the company for 25 or more years. In addition to English, German, Italian, French, Hindi, and Tagalog are spoken here.
